feva is Knaresborough's annual festival of entertainment and visual arts.
An annual festival has been held in Knaresborough since 1996 when the Knaresborough Festival was founded by the late Derrick van Zelst and his son Robin and this ran successfully for five years.
In 2001 a new group of volunteers came on board and the annual event was renamed feva. Every summer, for ten days a year, the town stages a wonderful array of shows and events. You will find something going on in every corner of the town whether an art exhibition in the Boat House, a play in the park or music in the pub. From street theatre to open air concerts, from live music to the art trail, there is something to suit all ages, all tastes and all pockets. Ten years later, feva has become a fully fledged festival, run for the community by the community. It attracts many visitors to Knaresborough, giving a welcome boost to many businesses. As a not-for profit organisation feva is always interested to hear from people who want to get involved.
