AFO Training is open to both AFO members and non-members.
Risk Assessments and Road Closures - the how, what, where and why
with Andy Grove from HighGrove Events Limited
Need help with your risk assessments? How do you identify and assess the risk and more importantly, what measures do you need to put in place to ensure the safety of your customers, volunteers, artists, staff and yourselves?
Need advice on road closures and traffic management? When are they needed? How do you get permission? How do you safely manage and staff the extra traffic generated by your event?
Andy will talk you through the legal dos and don’ts and give you examples of good practice.
Whether you are a beginner or have been running festivals for years this course is for you. Send your questions to Andy in advance and he will deliver a tailor-made training session.
