Working for and with festivals and events, supporting live arts

Lots of useful links:

AFO is part of LIVE  (a group formed to represent the live music industry in the UK).  LIVE represents our corner to HM government through this very powerful and influential group.  In particular this group has the ear of DCMS.  We continue to meet in video calls regularly.

Through the Events Industry Forum (EIF), which AFO chairs, is a group of 30 event industry professional associations.  This body also has a strong and influential voice through the Department of Trade and Industry, the Home Office and the many Tourism Boards.

EIF also publishes The Purple Guide - the most vital publication for festival and event organisers.
A range of free supplementary guidance for running Covid-19 safe events is also available on the Purple Guide website.
