AFO Conference 8 - 10 November 2019
Stratford Manor, Warwick Road, Stratford-upon-Avon, CV37 0PY
If you have any connection with the festival and events industry be it festival director, booker, committee member, volunteer or paid you really can’t afford to miss the annual AFO Conference. From Friday evening to late lunchtime on Sunday, the session rooms and stages are buzzing with headline speakers, presentations, discussions, ‘how to do that’ sessions and panel debates. There are numerous opportunities to share your knowledge and experience with others.
The AFO Conference delivers lively discussions, new ideas, money saving tips, great networking opportunities and interactive presentations alongside in-depth one-to-ones with key advisors and is open to all people working in the industry.
The delegates are an exciting mix of volunteers and professionals, bringing together teams that have been running festivals for generations with first-time organisers, new suppliers with familiar names, programmers and market specialists. Whatever your role or interest in festivals and events, if you are dedicated to learning and teaching, sharing and networking to continuously improve the scene, you will find plenty of common ground at AFO Conference.
Saturday evening also provides a live concert showcase. And throughout each day there is a whole host of suppliers’ trade stands for those one-to-one opportunities to find out more about the “tools” you need.
I hope you can join us at one of the festival and event industry’s major annual events and look forward to seeing you in November.
