Is Your GDPR Sorted – speaker TBA

How Much Are You Worth - Nick Morgan CEO, We Are The Fair.
This seminar will look at the socio-economic impact of your festival one the community within which it is based. How does it affect local residents? Are they happy to have your mini invasion every year? Does your festival support local businesses, public amenities, and local charities? Would the local community suffer or be improved if your festival no longer happened – or relocated?

Just Stick it in the Field - Site Planning - John Radford, JR Productions & Jon Drape, Ground Control.
This seminar will look at the practicalities of basically building a mini-town for a few days. Power, water, sanitation are just a couple of the basic necessities to start with. Ground Control will guide you through the essentials and beyond.

From A Shed in The Woods - Sarah Bird and Rowan Hoban, Wild Rumpus.
Born from disappointing visits to festivals that provided little or no facilities for children, ‘Just So’ Festival has been nurtured from a shed in the woods to fill that gap. It is now the foremost family arts festival of its kind that puts children at the heart of its programming (and it is still organised from A Shed in The Woods).

It’s Only a Small Crowd (but accidents will happen) - Mark Harding, UK Crowd Management Association.
A look at the new health and safety legislation and how that will impact on events.

A Load of Wristbands - a showcase of several ticket agencies.
An in depth look at what is on offer – from the plainest paper to remote controlled  light up bands and every style, design and colour in between.

A collecting bucket of ideas. (Charity fundraising go digital) with Chicks.
How to raise funds for your event through maximising the digital age for initiatives such as Crowd Funding.

Do It in the Town Centre - Town-based festivals debate.
A discussion with a number of festivals using their local town for their festival – the benefits and the problems they encounter and how to get round them.

PRS New Tariff - Senior staff members Rob Kirkham and Martin Maguire.
Everything you need to know about the new tariff and how it will impact on your event.

PLUS
The Colin Irwin interview with the founder of folk rock, Ashley Hutchings.

More to be announced as confirmed.
