Having worked with festivals over the years we understood how difficult the marketplace was becoming with rising costs across the booking, build and marketing. We see lots of shared information on 'the build' and 'at event' best practices but not really much in the attraction and engagement of customers through various marketing and digital strategies.
Our aim is to reach as many festivals across the globe, of various sizes and genres to pull together some shared insight into whats working and what isn't, which when compiled should help all festivals feel more confident about their marketing and digital actions.
We have gone out to 3000 festival worldwide across music, film, food and Drink and Culture with a view to getting as many as possible to make the results as poignant as can be.
The insight centres around the various opinions of marketing, resource, the digital experience and ticketing.
The questionnaire should take between 5 - 10 mins. We make sure that anyone who wants to remain anonymous in the report can do, as we respect privacy.
