Supporting Grassroots Live Music
Supporting Grassroots Live Music fund.
This funding will be available to support applicants whose work is focused on hosting and promoting live music events in venues. The money has been ringfenced to enable additional support to small music venues and promoters
We are primarily interested in supporting projects that take place in small to medium sized grassroots music venues. However, we are open to supporting projects taking place in other spaces such as multi-artform venues, village halls, folk clubs and pubs if the project can demonstrate a clear benefit to the grassroots music infrastructure within its local area
As well as contemporary pop/rock, we welcome applications from those who work with all musical types and genres, including world music, folk, classical, jazz and experimental
We will support applications for between £1,000 and £40,000, and can support live music programming, purchasing essential equipment, carrying out building work, developing new routes into off-stage roles, or business planning. The activity we fund must primarily benefit audiences for live music in the short or longer term.
