Event Production Show Moves Date and Venue to Support Industry

The UK’s leading live event industry exhibition, the Event Production Show (EPS), has announced its decision to secure new dates for 2021 and a new venue that will allow it to take place before next year’s outdoor event and festival season in a COVID safe environment.

EPS will now be hosted at the Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre as part of a partnership with Farnborough International.

It will take place on 24 – 25 March 2021 at the Centre, one of the UK’s leading venues, which benefits from considerable outdoor space.

EPS is the longest-standing event for anyone running outdoor events, festivals, sporting events, corporate and brand experiences, local authority events and arena tours.

Portfolio Director Chris Down said: , “We feel it is essential there is an event that truly unites the live events industry before next year’s season starts – one that allows organisers, production teams, suppliers and contractors to meet up, discuss current issues and form partnerships that will help enable next summer’s events to take place. EPS will also provide an important platform for companies to secure new and desperately needed business.

Global Marketing Director Alex Jones added: “Festivals, sports and live events are the foundation of our culture and we going to do everything we can to support the industry that make them happen. Running the Event Production Show for the community in March is more than about just bringing the people together for its usual dose of networking and education. It will be about making a stand and showing the government how events can still run safely with as little impact on the R number as going to the supermarket, or an airport. We will be hosting the event outdoors but come rain or shine we have to unite and we’ll be calling on all of you to make a stand with us.”

Operations Director Dan Edwards said: “Our top priority is of course the safety of our visitors and all who are involved in the show. We have been working hard to ensure that all the necessary measures in place and the show can run in a COVID secure environment. We look forward to running the show in March.”
