Green Goblet supply reusable cups to festivals

GREEN GOBLET is supporting AFO, supporting your festival and supporting the Planet
“ You use it, We wash it, You use it again “

For many, British Summertime is the perfect excuse to dust off the tent and wellies and head to a music festival. After Covid-19 hit us all in March 2020, life for the Festival industry came to an abrupt halt, and for many the long wait for the summer festivals became a distant memory.

Now rolling the clock forward, we have still so much uncertainty, but what we do know is that being deprived of our much-loved festivals, it has made the public realise how important festivals are to us as humans. Social gatherings add structure to our lives and connect us. They bring communities together and help us to relieve stress and balance our emotions.

Festivals are key to the growth of the live music Industry, as well as providing jobs for hundreds of thousands of people -so it is not a case of hoping that festivals go ahead this year, we need them to more than ever.

Since setting up in 2012, Green Goblet have seen festivals as the perfect platform for educating the public on issues such as the devastating effect on our planet of using single-use plastic.  We have seen significant steps forward in sustainability initiatives from many festival organisers like Shambala who are committed to being single-use plastic free and continually looking at new idea to make this happen.

In 2019, Green Goblet supplied more reusable cups to festivals than in any other year. We can only hope that going forward, we can all work towards the same goal – reducing our carbon footprint.

At Green Goblet, we know a lot of festivals will be planned at the last minute due to Covid-19, and we want to be able to help in any way we can. We normally supply our generic reusable cups to festivals alongside our festivals branded reusable cups. If this is not going to be possible because of timescales, please consider renting our reusable cups so that you are not using single-use plastic cups. We are happy to discuss an option that will work for you, be cost effective and more importantly - benefit the planet. Refill not Landfill.

P.S If you do not preserve the planet for yourself, think of the much-loved penguin who are being forced to move to icier icecaps as their ice is melting. For penguins who lay their eggs on the ground, the eggs cannot survive when lying in pools of water!
