British Red Cross to stop providing first aid at events due to cost cutting

  The British Red Cross is to stop providing first aid at events as part of a cost-cutting drive, the charity has announced. In a break from decades of tradition, the charity said it will pull out of attending events to focus on directing funds to other parts of its operations such as crisis support.
